The mission of Washington West African Center is to connect West Africans in Washington with local resources, build a bridge with the wider community and teach kids of Gambian descent the positive cultures from their parent's birth country. We help inform and educate West Africans to discover their potential and facilitate communication in the use of information technologies and work of arts for the attainment and discovery of their talents. Please note: We are in the process of changing our name to Washington West African Center (WAWAC). Washington State has approved the name change; we are awaiting IRS verification.
